New Hampshire is our home and we understand that nonprofits play a crucial role in making it a great place to live. We want to work with and support organizations that are doing good work in our state. Each year, Heartwood Media selects one New Hampshire-based nonprofit (501(c)3) organization and creates a video program at no charge.
What We’ll Do For You
We’ll work with you and your team to create a short video that can be used to promote your organization, its activities or programs. We shoot for one day and provide a finished video in digital formats you can use for the web, social media and presentations.
Attention spans are short and many people won’t take the time to watch a 5-minute video. We will create a short (1-2 minute), impactful video for your organization.
What We Want From You
It’s very difficult to tell the entire story of your organization in 1-2 minutes. We’ve found that a story that is an example of your organization’s impact is much more effective. For example, this video we created for CASA of NH doesn’t tell all of what a CASA does but it does show you that CASAs make a difference. This was a very effective video for CASA.
We believe that a compelling story is the best way to communicate what you do. Tell us a story about a program or initiative that’s making a difference in New Hampshire. How did the work you do help to bring about change?
You don’t have to tell us how to tell the story (we’ll figure that out), but you do need to tell us what the story is.
There isn’t an application to fill out, but be sure to tell us:
- Who you’re trying to reach with your message (the audience)
- The story
- Why the story matters to people watching – the bottom line for anyone that waco is “Why should I care? What does this mean to me?”
- What do you want people to think / feel / do after watching the video?
- Why video is the best tool to tell your story
- Why we should work with you and your organization. What’s it going to be like? Why would we be crazy to choose another organization?

The Fine Print
We will only consider applications from (501(c)3)s whose work directly affects New Hampshire and its citizens.
Emails must be received by May 31st to be considered.
